Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum

Attractions in the The Eastern Shore

A rural oasis in the city! The Cole Harbour Heritage Farm is a community museum dedicated to preserving and interpreting Cole Harbour’s agricultural past, and developing understanding of plants, animals and farming today. Set within an original Cole Harbour farm, the site includes heritage buildings, artifacts and exhibits, a working blacksmith shop, farm animals, award-winning gardens, and nature walk and wetland. The farmhouse kitchen prepares homemade soups, salads and sandwiches, much of it from our own garden, as well as classic baked treats. The gift shop features the works of local makers and artisans, children’s books and farm and garden-themed toys and souvenirs.

The Farm is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, from May 15 to October 15. Admission is by donation.  A pop-up farmers market takes place each Wednesday 1-3pm, beginning June 2.

The Tearoom will continue to be outdoor dining only in 2021, due to Covid-19 restrictions and the safety of guests.  Enjoy their delicious meals in this farm-yard take-out.
