Hector Heritage Quay

Attractions in the The Northumberland Shore

The Hector Heritage Quay is the home of the Ship Hector, a full-size replica of the ship that brought the first Scottish immigrants directly to Nova Scotia in 1773. Visit the Interpretive Centre to learn about the history of our province and step aboard the Ship Hector to experience life below deck.

Located on the beautiful Pictou Harbour and close to restaurants and accommodations, a visit to the Hector Quay is a must.
