Knoydart Farm is a grass-fed certified organic dairy farm belonging to Angela, Adam and Frazer Hunter and overlooks the ruggedly beautiful coastline of the Northumberland Strait, near Merigomish in Nova Scotia, Canada
In 1998 Angela and Frazer decided to take the plunge and bought the dairy farm in Knoydart, halfway between New Glasgow and Antigonish. Over the years they transitioned the farm to organic and added the cheese making facility in 2009.
Organic cheese curds and cheddar cheeses in a variety of flavours, including peppercorn, garlic, dill caraway and cranberry are all produced here, on the farm.
Cheeses are available at many specialty stores in the Maritimes including Antigonish Farmers Market, New Glasgow Farmers Market, Mabou Farmers Market, Pete’s and select Sobeys stores as well as at our Cheese House next to our farm .
