Mrs. MacGregor’s Shortbreads is a small batch bakery that has been producing and packaging a high end line of quality gourmet shortbread cookies since 2003. This shortbread enterprise evolved from Mrs. MacGregor’s Tea Room & Restaurant, a popular little bistro located in the seaside town of Pictou, Nova Scotia owned and operated by Helen Buchan and her husband, Hollis Corbin.
Helen, also known as “Mrs. MacGregor”, started creating our line of gourmet shortbreads in 2003 for our restaurant’s customers and fans, as well as corporate clients. Using a generations old family recipe, our shortbreads are made with only the finest all-natural ingredients, from the butter to the zests to the maple sugar. To make the best, you have to use the best.
Our ingredient lists are easy to read, short and sweet. Available in several delicious and delightful flavours, we are confident our shortbreads deliver a truly “melt-in-your-mouth” experience.
