One of our larger branches, Pictou Library is located downtown Pictou on Water Street in the Town Council Building. We offer a full range of free services and access to the resources of all Nova Scotia public libraries. Pictou Library is also an @NS community technology access site. At the Pictou Library you can access a wireless hotspot to high speed Internet.

All library programs are offered free of charge, although space is limited – so please call the Library for more information, and to register 902-485-5021. Regular library programs are offered through the fall until the spring (from September to June). Over the summer months, special programming (such as the Summer Reading Clubs for children) is offered.

Pictou Library also includes the Bud White Collection. A unique collection of various materials relating to the history of Pictou County and Nova Scotia in general. This material is for reference use only and must be used in the Library.
